After 10 years as a radiation therapist, Rachel Cooper started leading workouts in her mom's Beaufort garage in 2019. Four years later she opened GROW on Live Oak Street — and was named Carteret County's 2023 New Business of the Year. What began with a few friends is now a thriving community.

A NASM Certified Personal Trainer and ACE Health Coach who also coaches nutrition, she specializes in making fitness approachable for every body — especially adults over 50 and anyone starting fresh. Rachel began coaching friends in her mother's garage in 2019, and by January 2023 had opened GROW's Live Oak Street studio in Beaufort, earning Carteret County's 2023 New Business of the Year award. Her philosophy is simple: be proactive, not reactive; train because you love your body; and remember you're never too old to get stronger. Today she leads a certified team and a growing community that shows up for one another every single day. When you train with Rachel, you're not a number — you're part of the GROW family.
